The Berwyn Township implemented a program to provide Emergency Medical ID bracelets free of charge to Berwyn residents with a medical or mental health concern. The bracelet will help first responders obtain important medical information and emergency contacts when assisting a resident.
PROGRAM SPECIFICS
- Emergency Medical I.D. Bracelets are available for free to Berwyn Residents.
- Residents that may benefit from the program include individuals with Alzheimer’s, Autism, severe allergies, or other mental health concerns.
- Emergency Medical I.D. Bracelets will provide important medical information and emergency contacts to first responders when assisting a Berwyn resident who could experience distress or disorientation in emergencies.
- Berwyn residents who wish to obtain a bracelet for a loved one may call the General Assistance Dept. at 708-765-4516.
- The silicone bracelets include a metal plate with engraved information on the front and back of the metal plate.
