Position Summary:
Berwyn Township is seeking a bilingual and community-minded Part-Time Communication and Outreach Coordinator to support public outreach, communication, and resident engagement. This role requires strong communication skills, flexibility, and a commitment to serving our diverse community
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and distribute bilingual (English/Spanish) outreach and educational materials.
• Manage communications across various platforms, including social media, email, and print.
• Assist with planning, organizing, and attending outreach events, community workshops, and public information sessions.
• Serve as a liaison between the Township and community organizations, stakeholders, and residents.
• Represent the Township at public events, especially during weekends.
• Update township communication
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish (both spoken and written).
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Flexible schedule with availability on weekends is required.
• Must have a reliable form of transportation.
• Experience in community outreach or public service preferred.
• Self-starter who is organized and able to work independently.
