BPHC’s TB screenings are quick, simple, and convenient. TB testing consists of a two-step process. This test is performed by injecting a small amount of fluid under the skin. This is done to see if a reaction occurs under the skin.
After the placement of a TB skin test, two to three days later, you’ll need to return to the clinic for a test reading.
State regulations require healthcare providers to report suspected or positive TB results to state health departments.
